Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new SNMPWEBCARD. Your SNMPWEBCARD will connect your UPS to your LAN. This will allow you to monitor and control the UPS from any PC on the LAN, using either:

SNMP protocol and popular SNMP network management platforms such as HP OpenView, IBM NetView, etc., or

A Web browser.

SNMPWEBCARD System Requirements

Tripp Lite UPS with a standard card slot.

Ethernet networking environment using the TCP/IP protocol.

SNMP-based management station such as:

HP OpenView,

IBM Tivoli

Sun SunNet Manager,

Novell ManageWise

Or

Web browser supporting HTML frames, forms and Java, such as: Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later

MS Internet Explorer 4.0 or later

For “Terminal Mode” configuration, a terminal emulation (communication) package.
