7.4Configuration Page

The OSD Configuration page allows users to set up their own, individual, working environments. The NetDirector Console KVM Switch with IP Access stores a separate configuration record for each user profile, and sets up the working configuration according to the Username that is used to log in.

The Configuration page settings are explained in the following table:

Selects which Hotkey controls the OSD function:

 

[Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] or [Ctrl] [Ctrl]. Since

OSD Hotkey

the Ctrl key combination may conflict with programs

 

running on the computers, the default is the Scroll Lock

 

combination.

 

 

 

Selects how the Port ID is displayed: the Port Number

 

alone (PORT NUMBER); the Port Name alone (PORT

ID Display

NAME); or the Port Number plus the Port Name (PORT

 

NUMBER + PORT NAME). The default is PORT

 

NUMBER + PORT NAME.

 

 

 

Determines how long a Port ID displays on the monitor

ID Duration

after a port change has taken place. You can choose an

amount from 0 - 255 seconds. The default is 5 Seconds.

 

 

0 is Always On.
