Software Installation

If the driver installation was successful, you will be able to see the model number of the CP-168U board listed under Multi-port serial adapters.

You may also expand the Ports (COM & LPT) item to check the status of the COM ports. If you see a question mark on top of the icon, then the installation might have a problem. Check the Event Log to determine the reason for the problem.

MOXA PComm Utility

This utility, which comes with MOXA PComm Lite, provides a convenient way to diagnose problems with Moxa boards, and provides internal and external testing of IRQ, TxD/RxD, UART, CTS/RTS, DTR/DSR, DTR/DCD, etc. This program can verify the correct operation of both the H/W and S/W for all Moxa boards and ports.

Event Log

To check the Event Log for MOXA boards, click Start Settings Control Panel Administrative Tools Event Viewer, to enter the Event Viewer program. You may find the latest warning message relevant to the Moxa driver in the system category.
