Select a Mass Storage Drivers Method

Select a method listed in TABLE 3-1that meets the need of your environment for providing the appropriate mass storage drivers for Windows Server 2003 installation. Make note of the method you have selected

Note – For Windows Server 2008, the Windows distribution media includes all drivers necessary to install Windows on the Sun Blade X6250 server module. If you are installing Windows Server 2003, you will need to supply mass storage drivers during the installation using one of the methods described below.

*If you do not use a USB floppy drive designed for Windows, it might appear that the drivers are installed during the OS installation, but when you reboot the system, the graphical part of the Windows setup will be unable to find the drivers again and the installation will fail with an error message.
