Update the Critical Server-Specific

Drivers

This chapter describes how to update the Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 installation with server-specific device drivers.

The procedures in this chapter assume that you already:

Installed the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 operating system.

Have the latest Tools and Drivers CD for your server available. --or--

Downloaded X6250_Tools_And_Drivers_Windows_xxxxx.zip and extracted

InstallPack.exe to a location accessible to the server as described in “Prepare for Mass Storage Driver Delivery” on page 13.

Note – The xxxxx number identifies the version of the package (for example, X6250_Tools_And_Drivers_Windows_38907.zip).
