￿￿Primary Components

Most operations you will perform with your RS-1612 rack system will involve the primary components. This chapter gives you an overview of the primary components and details on the use of their sub-components.

Control Panel

The control panel is to the right of the modem card slots. It consists of a four-row LCD panel and four control buttons. The LCD panel displays important information about the rack status and helps you to configure the rack.
