6. The Log Server

The Windows-based Log Server is an administrative utility that records all the events that take place on selected CPU IP ACCESS SWITCH units.

6.1Installation

1.Insert the CPU IP ACCESS SWITCH software CD into your CD-ROM drive

2.Open the drive and folder where the Log Server Setup icon (CN6kLogServer_x_x_xxxLindy.exe) is located and double click the icon.

The Log Server installation screen appears:

3.Click Next, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation and have the program icon placed on the desktop.
