Chapter 4: Installing the Driver for Windows XP
Overview
After physically installing the Adapter in your computer, follow these instructions to install the driver required for Windows XP. If you need to uninstall the Adapter, refer to the “Uninstalling the Adapter” section at the end of this chapter.
Installing the Driver
1.Power on your computer. Make sure you have administrative rights on your computer; otherwise you cannot install the driver.

2.Windows XP will automatically detect the presence of the Adapter in your computer. Insert the Driver CD into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
3.On the Welcome screen of the Found New Hardware Wizard, select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), and click the Next button.
4.After selecting Search for the best driver in these locations on the screen that appears, choose Include this location in the search:, and enter D:\driver\WinXP in the field provided (if “D” is the letter of your CD- Rom drive). Then, click the Next button.

5.A screen may appear informing you that the software has not passed Windows Logo testing. The software does work with Windows XP. Click the Continue Anyway button.
