Note for HDMI Connections:

•Europe : Since the HDMI output connection does not allow a pass-through from any of the analog inputs, ARCHOS recommends that you connect your tuner’s primary scart output directly to your television and the auxiliary (secondary) scart output to the TV+ inputs. In this case, you would not use the analog output connectors of the TV+.

•North America: Since the HDMI output connection does not allow a pass-through from any of the analog inputs, ARCHOS recommends that you connect one of your tuner’s video outputs directly to the TV and a secondary video output to the TV+ inputs. In this case, you would not use the analog output connectors of the TV+.

8.3CONNECTING WITH A TV ONLY (NO EXTERNAL TUNER)

•If your television has output connectors in addition to the inputs, you will be able to record from your television. Connect the TV’s audio/video outputs to the in- puts of the TV+.

•With this setup, you will only be able to record the channel that is currently dis- played on the screen. You will also not be able to use the TV Program Guide or the scheduler.
