Step 4 Disconnect 2 cords connected to the circuit board on the metal part.

Step 5 Remove the metal part.

• Remove 4 screws on the metal part.

Step 6 Pull out the HDD tray halfway.

Step 8 Pull out the HDD tray.

• Pull out the HDD tray completely.

Step 9 Remove the HDD.

Remove 4 screws securing the HDD and then remove the HDD from the frame.

Step 7 Remove the cords.

Notice

Because S-ATA connectors of HDD are very delicate, connect or disconnect the cords gently without applying excessive force to the connectors.

Take special care to connect or disconnect the connectors straight in order to prevent vertical force from being applied to them.
