Troubleshooting

Diagnosis by HDD indicators

In the case that the HDD 1 or HDD 2 indicator on the front panel blinks or illuminates, check the problem in the HDD according to the chart below.

Both indicators of HDD 1 and HDD 2 illuminate red.

No

Yes

Both of the HDDs are not identified. The S-ATA cable may not be connected properly or a problem may occur in the HDDs.

Both indicators of HDD 1

and HDD 2 blink red.

set to mirroring?

Is the MODE rotary switch set

correctly?The HDDs of different capacities may be used. Check the HDD capacity.

Mirroring

During synchronization, a problem occured in the source HDD and that HDD became unidentifiable.

The synchronization cannot be continued.

Yes

Though the HDD corresponding to the illuminating indicator is not identified, operation can be continued. The S-ATA cable may not be connected properly or a problem may occur in the HDDs.
