Safety instructions for wireless

The projector operates in a 2.4 GHz band for its wireless LAN capabilities. No license is required for use. Before using the projector, read the follow- ing instructions thoroughly and carefully and always observe them.

Do not use the wireless function in the vicinity of other wireless appliances.

The following appliances may use the same radio wave band as the projector. If the projector is used in the vicinity of the following appliances, the projector may not be able to communicate or the communication speed may drop due to radio wave interference.

A microwave oven and other appliances

Industrial, scientific, or medical appliances

A wireless base station typically installed at factory's manufacturing lines for use in classification of moving objects

A low-power wireless base station

Wireless LAN signals barely trickle through steel, metal, stone, or concrete.

Wireless LAN signals trickle through wood or glass free of metal mesh. However, when steel, metal, stone, or concrete is used as the wall or floor material, the signals barely trickle through it.

Do not place the projector on a carpet, cushion, or bedding that may cause static electricity.

LAN communications, whether they are wired or wireless, may be interrupted when you place the projector on a carpet, cushion, or bedding that may cause static electricity. Should you experience such problems, disconnect your connection, try to hold static electricity or remove noise sources, and reconnect your connection.

Your connection may not be connected due to static electricity or noise. Should you experience such problems, press the Power button on the con- trol panel or remote control to turn off the projector.

In an environment where there are many wireless devices, you may not be able to connect the projector.
