•If you connect an cassette tape deck to the TV/CD IN jacks, or connect an RI Dock to the TV/CD IN or VCR/DVR IN or GAME IN jacks, for uto work properly, you must set the Input Display accordingly (➔ 22).
Controlling Other Components
By pressing REMOTE MODE that’s been programmed with the remote control code for your component, you can control Onkyo component as below.

Controlling a
BD/DVD is preprogrammed with the remote control code for controlling a component that supports the p. The component must be able to receive remote control commands via pand be connected to the AV receiver via HDMI.
Resetting REMOTE MODE Buttons
You can reset a REMOTE MODE to its default remote control code.
1 While holding down REMOTE MODE that you want to reset, press and hold down AUDIO until the remote indicator lights (about 3 seconds).
2 Within 30 seconds, press REMOTE MODE again.
The remote indicator flashes twice, indicating that the button has been reset.
Each of REMOTE MODE is preprogrammed with a remote control code. When a button is reset, its pre- programmed code is restored.
Resetting the Remote Controller

1 While holding down RECEIVER, press and hold down AUDIO until the remote indicator lights (about 3 seconds).
2 Within 30 seconds, press RECEIVER again.
The remote indicator flashes twice, indicating that the remote controller has been reset.
