Connecting Your Speakers
•Connect the right speaker to the CD receiver’s right (R) SPEAKERS terminals. Connect the left speaker to the left
(L) SPEAKERS terminals.
•Connect the positive (+) terminal on each speaker to the corresponding positive (+) terminal on the CD receiver. Connect the negative

Red wires | Strip about 15 mm (5/8") of insulation from the ends of the speaker |
| cables, and twist the bare wires tightly. Unscrew the terminal. Fully |
| insert the bare wire, making sure that it’s touching the threaded shaft in |
| the center. Screw the terminal tight. |

SPEAKERS
•Connect only speakers with an impedance of between 4 and 16 ohms. Connecting a speaker with a lower impedance may damage the speaker.
•Be careful not to short the positive and negative wires. Doing so may damage the CD receiver.
•Do not connect both speaker cables to the same L or R terminals (Fig. 1). Do not connect more than two speaker terminals to each speaker (Fig. 2).
