Controlling Other Components

You can use the AV receiver’s remote controller (RC-765M) to control your other AV components, includ- ing those made by other manufacturers. This section explains how to enter the remote control code (with the default underlined) for a component that you want to con- trol: DVD, TV, CD, etc.

Preprogrammed Remote Control

Codes

The following REMOTE MODE are preprogrammed with remote control codes for controlling the components listed. You do not need to enter a remote control code to control these components.

For details on controlling these components, see the pages indicated.

Looking up for Remote Control Code

You can look up for appropriate remote control code from on-screen setup menu.

Note

This setting can be carried out by using On-screen Setup Menu only.

1 Press RECEIVER followed by SETUP.

 

The main menu appears onscreen.

 

2 Use q/wto select “Remote Controller Setup”, and then press ENTER.

The “Remote Controller Setup” menu appears.

2.Enter the 5-Digit remote control code.

3.Push some key to see if the TV responds.

4.Push Remote Mode [RECEIVER].

5.Choose “Works” or “Doesn’t work”.
