Using the OptiResponse Equalizer

When using the HT-R330 with the speakers included in the HTP-330 Home Theater Speaker Package, by turning on the OptiResponse equalizer, you can enjoy a powerful sound with movies or music.

OR-EQ

Press the [OR-EQ] button to turn

the OptiResponse equalizer on or off.

Setting the Display Brightness

With this function, you can adjust the brightness of the display.

Press the remote controller’s [DIMMER] button repeatedly to select: dim, dimmer, or normal brightness.

Alternatively, you can use the [DIM-

MER] button on the AV receiver (not

European models).

Adjusting the Bass & Treble

You can adjust the bass or treble for the front speakers except when the Direct listening mode is selected.

Use the TONE [–]/[+] buttons to

adjust.

 

 

 

Bass

You can boost or cut low-frequency sounds output by the front speakers from –10 dB to +10 dB in 2 dB steps.

Treble

You can boost or cut high-frequency sounds output by the front speakers from –10 dB to +10 dB in 2 dB steps.

Note:

To bypass the bass and treble tone circuits, select the Direct listening mode.

Muting the AV Receiver

With this function, you can temporarily mute the output of the AV receiver.

Press the remote controller’s [MUTING] button.

The output is muted and the MUTING indicator flashes on the display, as shown.

To unmute the AV receiver, press the remote control- ler’s [MUTING] button again, or adjust the volume. The output is unmuted and the MUTING indicator goes off. Muting is cancelled when the AV receiver is set to Standby.
