4.Eject the lamp by pulling the ejection lever (Figure 15) on the lamp holder toward the rear of the P170/P170v.

5.Return the ejection lever to its original, vertical position.

NOTE: Typically, lamps have an operating life of approximately 40 hours. When lit, the REPLACE LAMP LED indicates that the P170/P170v has been in use for approximately 40 hours and lamp failure may occur soon. At this time you may elect to replace the lamp or reset the LAMP HOURS using the Menu Mode On-Screen control, or you may elect to continue using your P170/P170v until the lamp fails.

6.Unscrew and open the spare lamp access door (Figure 15).

7.Remove the spare lamp from its storage location and insert it into the lamp holder.

NOTE: Replace the spare lamp as soon as possible.

8.Close both the lamp access and spare lamp access doors (Figure 15).
