Boot Up Floppy Seek

During POST, BIOS will determine the floppy disk drive installed is 40 or 80 tracks. 360 K type is 40 tracks 720 K, 1.2 M and 1.44 M are all 80 tracks.

Enabled

BIOS searches for floppy disk drive to determine it is 40 or 80 tracks. Note that

 

BIOS can not tell from 720K, 1.2M or 1.44M drive type as they are all 80 tracks.

Disabled

BIOS will not search for the type of floppy disk drive by track number. Note that

 

there will not be any warning message if the drive installed is 360K. (Default

 

value)

Password Check

System

The system can not boot and can not access to Setup page will be denied if the

 

correct password is not entered at the prompt.

Setup

The system will boot, but access to Setup will be denied if the correct password

 

is not entered at the prompt. (Default value)

HDD S.M.A.R.T. Capability

This feature allows your hard disk to report read/write errors and to issue warnings when third- party hardware monitor utility is installed.

Enabled

Enable HDD S.M.A.R.T. capability.

Disabled

Disable HDD S.M.A.R.T. capability.(Default value)

Init Display First

This feature allows you to select the first initiation of the monitor display from which card when you install a PCI card and a PCI Express VGA card on the motherboard.

PEG

Set Init Display First to PCI Express VGA card.

PCI Slot

Set Init Display First to PCI VGA card. (Default value)

OnChip VGA

Set Init Display First to onboard VGA.

Surroundview

This option is configurable only if an ATI graphics card is installed.

Disabled

Disable the Dual-View capability. (Default value)

Enabled

Enable the Dual-View capability.

Internal Graphics Mode

Auto

Enable output from the onboard GPU when no PCI Express card is installed.

 

When a PCI Express card is installed, automatically output from the PCI Ex-

 

press card and disable the onboard GPU.(Default)

Disabled

Disable the onboard GPU, whether or not a PCI Express card is installed.

Frame Buffer Size

Auto

Auto-detect frame buffer size.(Default value)

32MB

Set frame buffer size to 32 MB.

64MB

Set frame buffer size to 64 MB.

128MB

Set frame buffer size to 128 MB.

256MB

Set frame buffer size to 256 MB.

512MB

Set frame buffer size to 512 MB.

1024MB

Set frame buffer size to 1024 MB.

Current UMA Size

Detect UMA size automatically.
