3.4.13Typematic Rate Setting

The typematic rate is the rate key strokes repeat as determined by the keyboard con- troller. The commands are "Enabled" or "Disabled". Enabling allows the typematic rate and delay to be selected.

3.4.14Typematic Rate (Chars/Sec)

The BIOS accepts the following input values (characters/second) for typematic rate: 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 24 and 30.

3.4.15Typematic Delay (msec)

!System: The system will not boot, and access to Setup will be also denied unless the correct password is entered at the prompt.
