2.3 USB Ports and LAN Ports (CN4, CN5, CN9, CN10)

The DVMB-554E provides up to eight ports of USB (Universal Serial Bus) interface which gives complete Plug & Play and hot swapping for up to

127 external devices. The USB interface complies with USB Specifica- tion Rev. 2.0 supporting transmission rate up to 480 Mbps and is fuse protected. The USB interface can be disabled in the system BIOS setup.

The DVMB-554E is equipped with one or two high-performance 1000 Mbps Ethernet LANs. They are supported by all major network operating systems. The RJ-45 jacks on the rear plate provide convenient or 1000 Base-T operation.
