Next, you should check to make sure the peripheral drives and the SATA drives and their backplane have been properly installed and all essential connections have been made.

Checking the Drives

1.The SATA disk drives can be installed and removed from the front of the chassis without removing the top chassis cover.

2.Depending upon your system's configuration, your system may have one or more drives already installed. If you need to install drives, please refer to the appropriate section in Chapter 6.
