Troubleshooting Chart

 

 

Symptom

Action

 

 

Mobile users cannot

• Make sure that the Wireless Barricade and all

access the Wireless

mobile users are configured to use the same

Barricade

radio channel, wireless domain (SSID), and

 

encryption keys.

 

• Ensure that all mobile users are within range of

 

the Wireless Barricade as specified in Appendix

 

C.

 

 

Management Problems

 

 

 

Cannot connect using

• Be sure to have configured the Wireless

the Web browser

Barricade with a valid IP address, subnet mask

 

and default gateway.

 

• Check that you have a valid network connection

 

to the Wireless Barricade and that the port you

 

are using has not been disabled.

 

• Check network cabling between the

 

management station and the Wireless Barricade.

 

 

Forgot or lost the

• Press the RESET button on the rear panel to

restore the factory defaults.

 

 

Printer Server

 

 

 

The printer cannot

• Make sure the parallel cable between the
