Appendix E: WDS Explained

One of the requirement for a WDS network is that the operational frequency channel on all the APs must be the same. This is one of the reasons why there is a huge bandwidth penalty when setting up a wireless network in WDS mode.

How to properly configure your APs in a WDS network will foremost depend on the locations of your wireless hotspots.
