Central Wiring Closet

With up to 52 ports on the switch, the TigerSwitch 10/100 can collapse a complex network down into a single efficient bridged node, increasing overall bandwidth and throughput.

In the figure below, the 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX ports on the TigerSwitch are providing 100 Mbps connectivity for up to 48 segments through SMC’s TigerStackII 10/100 hubs. In addition, the switch is also connecting servers at 200 Mbps.
