3.In the window titled ¡§Connect To¡¨ as shown below, enter a phone number to dial. The phone number should connect to a phone in which you have immediate access. Make sure the device selected under the Connect using field is the Agere modem. When you have entered the correct information, click OK.

4.In the window titled ¡§Connect¡¨ as shown below, click Dial. The program should dial the number, and you should detect the phone ring as shown below.

Note: Concurrent use of the cash drawer port and the modem port is not feasible.
