4.11 Thermocouple Measurements

The OM-DAQ-USB-2401 provides effortless thermocouple (TC) measurements. The unit includes built-in cold-junction compensation (CJC), which is automatically invoked when you select TC measurements. The DAQ unit automatically converts acquired voltage readings into compensated-linearized temperature readings. A DAQ system can make thermocouple and volts measurements concurrently.

TIP: If you experience noise from thermocouple wires, you can connect a 100K resistor from AxL to the COM to elimate some noise. Please reference the following diagram:
