Basic Setup — Admin Password

It is highly recommended that you set an administrator password on the Wireless Gateway as soon as possible to prevent any tampering with the device's settings. To do this, click Admin Password in the command panel at the left edge of your browser window (if the command does not appear there, click Basic Setup at the top of the window first).

Set a password as follows:

1.Click in the Password box and type the desired password. The password should not contain spaces, symbols, or punctuation marks. Note that only asterisks will appear as you type.

2.Click in (or tab to) the Confirm Again box and type exactly the same string.

You can clear all input and start again, if you wish, by clicking the Cancel button.

3.Click the Save button.

The password will be stored in the Wireless Gateway's non-volatile memory and take effect immediately.
