ConsoleServer 3200 System

Lightwave Communications

The System will run through the system configuration and make the appropriate changes. Note that some commands may show a 'fail' which may be normal for that instance. A 'fail' message may mean that a command was not previously running, and so the command to kill that application 'failed' (because it wasn't running). However, if you review the operations at a later time, you will probably see an 'OK' message for the same prompts and options.

THE VERY FIRST TIME the System is run, the Setup script will automatically undergo a reset and reboot to save the features to the system.

6.3.14SAVE Command

Every other operation of the Setup script file, the root-level system administrator will have to execute the SAVE COMMAND in order to preserve the changed values.
