1. Introduction

Your new LaCie Rugged All-Terrain Hard Disk combines por- tability with compatibility, convenience and a generous storage capacity to help you manage your data. Compatible with both Macintosh and PC computers, the Rugged Triple Interface model can be connected via FireWire 800, FireWire 400, iLink/DV or Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interfaces.

The Rugged is ideally suited for a wide range of high-end, high- traffic environments, including:
