SECTION 5—WHEELCHAIR OPERATION

WARNING

The excess joystick cable must be coiled, and tie-wrapped to the rear of the seat frame to ensure that cable does NOT become entangled or damaged during normal operation of seating sys- tem - otherwise injury or damage may result.

3.If necessary, coil and tie wrap excess joystick cable to rear of seat frame.

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 5.12.

Disconnecting

1.Pull the latch away from the joystick connector.

2.Disconnect the joystick connector from the remaining connectors.

Connecting

1.Ensure the latch is pulled away from the joystick connector.

2.Connect the joystick connector to the other connectors.

3.Push the latch in to secure the joystick connector to the other connectors.
