Auto-negotiates full- or half-duplex operation.

Store-and-Forward switching approach to minimize re-transmission of faulty packets.

Filtering/Forwarding rate of 148,800 packets per second at 100Mbps.

Filtering/Forwarding rate of 14,880 packets per second at 10Mbps.

1K active address entry table per device with self-learning and table aging.

2 MB packet buffer per eight ports.
