The group count is not limited. Users can specify n VLAN groups or even more groups for any n (n=number of ports on your switch) port switch. But note that after writing to the device, only the information of the rst n/2 added VLAN groups can be read back from the device of n port switch.

Note: Once at least one VLAN group has been added, the system will automatically gather all un-selected members as an implicit VLAN group. Users are recommended to explicitly assign all groups they need, although they know that there exists an implicit VLAN group.

Group Name: Create a group name up to 8 characters long.

Individual Port / Trunk: Both individual ports and trunks can be the members of a VLAN group. All light checkboxes are qualied members of a VLAN. At least two members must be selected to create a VLAN group.

Out-link Selection: If ood control is enabled, one port or trunk should be chosen as the out-link of this VLAN group. Click on the button to the right of ‘Out-Link Selection’ to bring up the popup window.
