To set the external interface to use DHCP, enter:

config system interface edit <interface>

set mode dhcp

To set the external interface to use PPPoE, enter:

4Use the same syntax to set the IP address of each FortiGate interface as required.

5Confirm that the addresses are correct. Enter:

get system interface

The CLI lists the IP address, netmask, and other settings for each of the FortiGate interfaces.

To configure DNS server settings

Set the primary and secondary DNS server IP addresses. Enter
