Configuring System Information

This section provides information for defining system parameters including switch status features, downloading switch software, and modifying switch parameters.

Defining Switch Information

Viewing the Switch Status

The Switch Status page contains parameters for configuring and viewing general switch information, including the Product Name, Firmware Version, the system MAC Address, Asset Tag, Service Tag, System Name, Location Name, Serial Number, and System Up Time. To open the page, click Switch Status in the tree view.

Product Name — Defines the name of the product.

Firmware Version — Defines the version of the product firmware.

Boot Version — Displays the current boot version running on the device.

MAC Address — Specifies the switch MAC address.
