CONNECTING TO THE MAINS OUTLET
Your 865 Integrated Amplifier is supplied with a mains power cord suitable for the location where it was purchased. It is constructed of a large enough wire gauge and a cable plug appropriate for the mains voltage in your location. Do not substitute another power cable.
The exact voltage and frequency range is indicated on the rear panel. Make certain that the mains voltage in your area is within the specifications shown.
WARNING: If the voltage shown on the 865 rear panel is not the same as the voltage in your area, DO NOT connect the amplifier to AC mains. CONTACT YOUR DEALER IMMEDIATELY.
Once the 865 is connected to a live mains outlet and the mains power switch is turned on, the front panel indicator will be illuminated. The indicator will be of varying color, showing that the supervising microprocessor is powered up and ready.
