PPPoE Client Options

PPPoE Client Options - If you are using PPPoE for your broadband con- nection, your ISP should have given some custom information to enter. If you do not have this information, it will be necessary to collect it from them.

The connection can be set to the fol- lowing types:

Connection on Demand - The con- nection is opened when activity is detected and terminated after a set period of inactivity (20 minutes by default).

Manual Connection - The connection must be manually started and stopped.

PPPoE Client Options

Continuous Connection - The AirStation will keep the connection alive indefi nitely.

PPPoE Multisession - The AirStation supports PPPoE Multisession as well. If your class of broad- band requires this information, hit the Multisession to enter the information in a separate window. Make sure to hit Apply when the data entry is complete.

The MTU value (578-1492) should only be changed if specifi cally instructed to by your ISP.
