Basic Settings

The AirStation is confi gured with an ad- ministrator account named root. It can not be changed to another name.

The default password of the AirStation is blank (i.e. no text). This value can and should be changed.

The new password should be 8 alpha- numeric characters long and can include an underscore character ( _ ). The pass- word is case sensitive.

If the password is forgotten, it will be necessary to reset the AirStation via the Reset button on the rear face, which will cause all other confi gurations to restore to factory defaults.
