APPENDIX H | TRIPORT AND ADAPTER CABLE |
Triport and Adapter Cable
Triports are typically used to passively tap data from a serial device. A Triport has three connectors, either 2DB-25's back to back or 2DB-9's and an additional DB-9 male which connects to the VSSI-Pro. The Triport ( and cable ) supplied with the VSSI-Pro is the ATM 2 Channel Triport. The following pin-out diagram for the cable is available for
troubleshooting purposes.

NOTE "
The VSSI-Pro does not provide any hardware handshaking signal. The ATM camera port must either be programmed without handshaking or the handshaking signal should be looped back to the camera port.
