Troubleshooting

If the ADSL Router is not functioning properly, you can refer first to this chapter for simple troubleshooting before contacting your service provider. This could save your time and effort but if the symptoms persist, then consult your service provider.

Problems Starting Up the I-STORM ADSL ROUTER

Check the connection between the adapter and the I-STORM ADSL ROUTER . If the error persists, you may have a hardware problem. In this case you should contact technical support.

Can’t ping any station on the LAN.

Check the Ethernet LEDs on the front panel. The LED should be on for a port that has a station connected. If it is off, check the cables between your I-STORM ADSL ROUTER and the station.

Verify that the IP address and the subnet mask are consistent between the I-STORM ADSL ROUTER and the workstations.
