Configuring Network Access Parameters

Configuring Network Access Parameters

To configure and/or manage the SuperStack II Switch 1000 over the net- work or via out-of-band access, the device needs to be properly config- ured with network access parameters. These parameters are initially configured in the device via the console port; however some can be modified using IntraSpection.

To view/configure network access parameters:

Do not select any item on the Device Page’s front panel image. (This selects the entire device.)

Click netwAccess.

The Network Access Information table appears, similar to Figure 4-4.

3 Click once in the field to be edited.

For a description of each field, see “Network Access “ on page 6-14.

Type the new information or select an option (if it’s a drop-down menu).

Click Apply.

The network access parameters are configured. To view updated information, click Refresh.
