Basic Configuration

-Press the WPS button on the back of the CPEi 890.

-Press the WPS button on the client device.

-The connection will be automatically established.

Software button PBC on the CPEi 890

-Navigate to the Security page of the Wi-Fi section of the CPEi 890 GUI as detailed above.

-Select “PBC” at the WPS Method dialog box and select “Apply”.

-Press the WPS button on the client device.

-The connection will be automatically established.

Option #2, Personal Identification Number (PIN)

Use this method if your client device has a WPS PIN number.

Initiate the WPS PIN procedure on the client device per the manufacturer’s instructions.

Navigate to the Security page of the Wi-Fi section of the CPEi 890 GUI as detailed above.

Make sure the “PIN” option is selected in the WPS Method dialog box in the Wi-Fi Security Screen.

Enter the PIN number of the client device in the field on this screen.

Click “Apply” on the CPEi 890 GUI screen. This must be completed within 2 minutes of starting the procedure on the client device.

The connection will be automatically established.
