Using Your C1 PictureBook Computer

For some PC cards, if you alternate between normal power operation and the system suspend or system hibernation power management modes while the card is inserted, you may find that a device connected to your system is not recognized. Reboot your system to correct the problem.

To remove a PC card

1Close any applications that use the PC card. Otherwise data may be lost.

2Click the PC card icon in the taskbar and close the card.

3Pull the PC card release button up and press it in towards the computer.

4Gently grasp the card and pull it out.

5Insert the PC card slot protector into the empty slot.
