5.8 Viewing Disk Details from the BIOS

This option allows you to view details about the disk. When you highlight a disk from the Disk list, the LEDs on the controller or a properly cabled disk enclosure light up to identify that disk.

Note: Nothing can be changed from this menu option. It is for information only.

To view disk details:

1.From the Main menu, select View Disk Details.

2.Use the arrow keys to choose a disk.

The details of the disk are displayed in the Information field across the top, and include the following data:

Disk Number

Controller Number

Channel Number

Disk Size

New/Legacy/Empty/InArray

Free Space

Disk Model Number
