Removing the Battery
1.Slide the battery lock to the unlocked position

2.While holding the battery release in the open position
, remove the battery.
Charging the Battery
The first time you charge the battery, you should charge it for eight hours. Thereafter, the standard charging time is about three hours. To charge the battery, install it in the computer (see “Installing the Battery” on page 14) and then connect the AC adapter (see “Connecting the AC Adapter” on page 16).
