Customizing the System

BIOS

Caution: Be sure you understand any changes you make to BIOS settings. Choosing incorrect settings can cause your V5 not to boot up.

Note: To exit BIOS Setup without sav- ing your changes, select Exit Discard- ing Changes and press Enter. When prompted to save, select No and press Enter.

The BIOS setup utility enables you to you change core set- tings on your Flybook V5 such as the system time, boot order, and auto-repeat rate for your keyboard. Most users will find the default settings optimal for their needs.

Accessing the BIOS Setup

When you turn on your computer a message Press F2 to enter BIOS appears. Press F2 to enter the BIOS setup.
