Replacing the Fan

Procedure

1Place the fan on the palm rest and align the screw holes on the fan with the screw holes on the base frame.

2Replace the screws that secure the fan to the base frame.

3Route the fan cable through the routing guides and connect it to the system board.

4Route the display cable through the routing guides and connect it to the system board.

5Adhere the I/O-board cable to the fan.

6Slide the I/O-board cable in the connector and press down on the latch to secure the cable.

Post-requisites

1Replace the battery.

2Replace the base cover.
