2Lift the latches and disconnect the status-light board cable and touchpad cable from the system board.

2 touchpad cable

3Close the display panel and turn the computer over.

4Remove the screws that secure the system board to the palm rest.

5Disconnect the speaker cable and hard-drive cable from the system board.
