Replacing the Status-Light Board

Procedure

1Align the screw hole on the status-light board with the screw hole on the palm rest.

2Replace the screw that secures the status-light board to the palm rest.

3Using the alignment posts, place the left speaker on the palm rest.

4Adhere the status-light board cable to the palm rest and slide the cable through the slot on the palm rest.

5Turn the computer over and open the display.

6Slide the status-light board cable in the connector and press down on the latch to secure the cable.

1Replace the I/O board.

2Replace the base frame.

3Replace the keyboard.

4Replace the fan.

5Replace the hard drive.

6Replace the battery.

7Replace the base cover.
