3.If applicable, rotate the system feet inward and lay the system on its side on a flat, stable surface.

NOTE: For systems installed with the wheel assembly, ensure that you lay the system on a sturdy, stable surface with the wheel assembly extending off the edge of the surface.

4.Open the system.

5.Disconnect the power cables from the hard-drive backplane and the system board.

6.Pull the release pin and detach the PIB from the PDB.

7.Slide and lift the PIB up until the grooves on the PIB are free of the pins on the chassis.

1.Remove the power interposer board.

2.Remove the six screws securing the power distribution board (PDB) to the chassis.

3.Lift the PDB up and out of the chassis.
