5.0Introduction

This chapter covers the cleaning recommendations as well as some printer troubleshooting. Periodic maintenance will guarantee continued optimum printer performance.

5.1Cleaning

ØTurn the printer OFF

ØRegularly clean the printer case with a damp cloth

ØDo not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners

ØClean the printhead once a month using a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
